What is “a Drop of the Hat” Dinner?

It’s a chance to mix things up with fun and fellowship at the homes of HBC family. The mystery is who will be dropping over for dinner? In order to find out- at the end of the morning service, names will be drawn from a hat and matched up with host homes.

The host/hostess

If you are interested in hosting during this dinner, please sign up as a host and write the number of guests you are able to host at your home. You will be cooking dinner for the amount of guests you’ve requested to host in your home. You won’t find out who is coming over until after names are drawn from the hat after the morning service.

The guest

As a guest please write your family’s name along with the amount of guests from your family that will be attending. ex: Smith Family- 7 guests.

College and Career have the opportunity to sign up separately from their immediate family. (Just make sure you have a car to drive) . Write your first name: Adam Smith -1 guest or if you are dating Eve Smith- 2 guests

You will find out where you will be having dinner when your name is drawn and matched up with your host family.
