About Us

Church FrontWe strive to faithfully preach and teach the Bible
We strive to worship God with reverence and enthusiasm

Since the great hymns of the faith convey the message of God’s supreme majesty and unending grace, we choose to employ them in our worship.

We strive to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ here and around the world
We strive to mutually care for one another.

The “one another” commands of the New Testament embody our understanding of how we are to relate to each other at HBC.

So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another

This is My commandment, that you love one another

Give preference to one another in honor

Be of the same mind toward one another

Therefore let us not judge one another anymore

So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another

Wherefore, accept one another

When you come together to eat, wait for one another

The members should have the same care for one another

Through love serve one another

Bear one another’s burdens

Showing forbearance to one another in love

And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other

Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs

And be subject to one another in the fear of Christ

Let each of you regard one another as more important than himself

Do not lie to one another

Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other

Teaching and admonishing one another

Therefore comfort one another with these words

Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another

Live in peace with one another

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another

The love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater

And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds

But encourage one another day after day

Do not complain, brethren, against one another

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another

Do not speak against one another

Be hospitable to one another without complaint

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another

Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another

We have fellowship with one another
